Koben and Nolan Parry

I missed out on this because I had to work, but it looks like the kids had a great time.

Koben got his first chance at sled riding yesterday. He rode in the sled all the way from our house down to the park. Then, he rode the sled down the hill once. After that, he wanted to walk around in the snow, throw some snowballs and look at the river. He loves the snow and does not get to be out in it often, so I guess he just wanted to do as much as he could while he could do it. I am sure that he will go sled riding again this winter and hopefully go down the hill more than once.

Koben was at the park last weekend. He had a lot of fun. There was so much to do there. He picked up rocks, mulch and sticks. Oh, and he climbed the steps to the slide about 50 times, yet he only went down the slide a couple of times. He was more interested in going up and down the steps.

Koben has really enjoyed being outside, even thought the number of days that he could actually be outside has been limited. Spring is very slow in coming. We are hoping for maybe a little warmer weather coming up this week. Considering this coming weekend is Easter, it will probably be a beautiful weekend, only because we cannot be outside.

 

Koben took a trip to the zoo today. He was very well behaved all day. It was asking a lot of him to be confined to a car for 4 hours and then spend 2 more hours in his stroller at the zoo. He got his flu shot yesterday, so he had even more reason to be grumpy.

Koben loved the fish in the aquarium. Here you can see me and Koben looking at some of those fish.

Koben was also very interested in the waterfall. He just loves water. He loves splashing, kicking and watching it flow. I really have no idea why. Below is a picture of him and mom in front of the waterfall.
